IG design group

I photographed two Christmas bags for Walmart's website. Inspired by the "I Spy" photography book, I played with the contrast between large and small objects, using the bags as the primary focal point. To match the aesthetic of the bags, I incorporated vintage items like a classic car and a popcorn garland, enhancing the nostalgic feel.

These elements, along with the warm, cozy color palette, perfectly complemented the retro charm of the designs while keeping the composition visually striking.

album photography

I created an album cover for Godford's album A Nonbinary Place. For the cover, I photographed my model dancing with string lights, using a slow shutter speed to capture the rapid motion that mirrors the album's electronic beats and glitch sound effects. Working with color overlays in the studio, I crafted a moody atmosphere with dramatic shadows.

I then enhanced the colors in Photoshop, adjusting the black point to create a more graphic effect.

The string lights emphasize movement and evoke the electric shock sounds featured in the music.

lifestyle photography

I designed a lifestyle photography set to showcase the packaging I created, demonstrating its use for formal events and picnics. The scene subtly features cherry boxes, with a hand reaching in to grab a cherry, suggesting guests are enjoying the product.

Natural lighting creates a warm, inviting atmosphere, while cherry blossom flowers surround the picnic, symbolizing the shape the boxes form when arranged together, resembling a cherry blossom. This design ties the packaging to an elegant, nature-inspired experience.

product photography

The photography set was designed to visually embody the brand’s concept of reflection, centered around the idea that your mind mirrors your reality. The shoot emphasized natural and holistic elements, incorporating reflective surfaces and organic accents to align with the brand’s identity. Props and placement were styled to feel loose and natural, aligning with the brand’s holistic aesthetic. A mirror was positioned to reflect the sky and crystals from the perfume bottles were scattered thoughtfully throughout the frame, while maintaining an organic, effortless composition. I utilized natural lighting outdoors, relying on the clear blue sky to create a soft, diffused light that complemented the reflective elements and highlighted the natural aspects of the scene.
